DESCRIPTION:
Clocks- 3 (Three): (1) Welch, Spring, & Co., Forestville, Conn., "Italian No. 1" mantel clock, 8 day, time and strike movement in a rosewood veneered case, c1878; (2) E. Ingraham, Bristol, Conn., "Venetian No. 2" mantel clock, 8 day, time and strike movement in a walnut case, c1875; (3) Welch, Spring, & Co., Forestville, Conn., "Italian No. 2, V.P." mantel clock, 8 day, time and strike with alarm in a rosewood veneered and grain painted case, c1880.
CONDITION:
(1) Small dings and scratches to case finish. Painted dial is dingy, but other wise good. Fairly good inner label. (2) Replaced paper dial. Upper hinge needs to be secured. Decent inner label indicates that this was once a "Mosaic", so it has lost its original finish. (3) Replaced dial. This is one of the correct pendulum styles for the Italian models. Case with scratches. Dimensions are for the Italian No. 2 (3) .
